Pieter, formerly of Shogun, now plays in the Netherlands. He has recently progressed from his local U18 team to the U25 squad, changing positions from fullback to scrum-half. Currently taking a gap year, he has temporarily stepped away from rugby but will play for his university team from next season. Pieter shared: ‘From what I’ve seen the club has continued to grow since I left which is very cool. I’ll be doing my best over here too, so send my regards to SIRC coaches and members.’
