Tokyo Girls’s Joint Practice Session

On Saturday, 28 June, we held a mini rugby ‘Tokyo Girls’s Joint Practice Session’ at BST Azabudai Ground. This is a regular practice session for elementary school girls in Tokyo who do not usually have the opportunity to practice or play matches with other girls. This time, we held a joint practice session with SIRC and provided the BST Azabudai Grounds as the practice venue.

On the day of the event, 40 female girls from across Tokyo gathered and enjoyed a fun time together.

Collaboration with the Diplomatic Rugby Club

At the initiative of Ovidiu Raetski, the Ambassador of Romania to Japan (photo), a ‘Diplomatic Rugby Club’ has been formed, comprising ambassadors and embassy staff from various countries in Tokyo.

The club has invited SIRC to join them for a joint practice session, which will take place on Saturday, 19 July at 5:00 PM at BST Azabudai Grounds.

This is another step for SIRC’s motto, ‘Make friends around the world through rugby.’
