Shibuya International Rugby Club classes are based on Japanese academic year, so we are able to play games with local Japanese teams.
Japanese academic year starts in April and ends in March of the following year.
To be precise, children who were born between 2nd April and 1st April of the following year are placed in the same grade. This is also in accordance with guidelines set by the Japan Rugby Football Union.
Therefore, some continuing members will move up the class age group from April. Applicable members will be notified in March.

If we need to cancel our classes, such as due to bad weather, we will announce it on this website, our official Facebook, Twitter, and by email as soon as possible (hopefully 2 hours before the beginning of the classes).
JRFU (Japan Rugby Football Union) Regulation for Mini-Rugby requires both players and coaches to wear rugby boots with non-metal fixed studs or blades. Metal replaceable studs are not allowed to wear for Mini Rugby for safety reasons.
