We will host an online lecture on heatstroke prevention by Dr. Jun Kanda, an expert in heatstroke from the Department of Emergency Medicine at Nippon University of Medical, Musashikosugi Hospital. We strongly encourage you to attend. (English translation will be provided)
Thanks to the arrangements made by President Norman, we have received SIRC original caps and bags specially made by a manufacturer in Hong Kong. The caps will be distributed mainly to the official coaches, and the bags will be sold to the members for 5,000 yen (tax included). We will notify you separately when the caps for sale arrive. They are adult sizes and are suitable for Junior high school students and above.
For those who wish to purchase
In July, the Tag Rugby Groups will hold a 2-night, 3-day training camp from the 19th to the 21st, and Shogun (junior high school students) will hold a 2-night, 3-day training camp from the 25th to the 27th. We hope that the training camp will be a fruitful experience through games and practice at the venue. We look forward to seeing you there.

On the final night of the camp, we are planning to hold a small fireworks display.We would greatly appreciate your support by donating some handheld fireworks.
If you are able to contribute, please bring them to the ground during one of the class sessions in July.

On Saturday, 28 June, we held a mini rugby ‘Tokyo Girls’s Joint Practice Session’ at BST Azabudai Ground. This is a regular practice session for elementary school girls in Tokyo who do not usually have the opportunity to practice or play matches with other girls.This time, we held a joint practice session with SIRC and provided the BST Azabudai Grounds as the practice venue.
On the day of the event, 40 female girls from across Tokyo gathered and enjoyed a fun time together.
At the initiative of Ovidiu Raetski, the Ambassador of Romania to Japan (photo), a ‘Diplomatic Rugby Club’ has been formed, comprising ambassadors and embassy staff from various countries in Tokyo.
The club has invited SIRC to join them for a joint practice session, which will take place on Saturday, 19 July at 5:00 PM at BST Azabudai Grounds.
This is another step for SIRC’s motto, ‘Make friends around the world through rugby.’
On Saturday, 28 June, SIRC representative Koji Tokumasu appeared on NHK’s ‘New Project X’ in his capacity as former director of the 2019 Rugby World Cup bid office.
