Shibuya Colts is a rugby team for anyone between 16-18 years old who have no opportunities to play rugby at their high schools who have no rugby teams.
Here is some basic information.
(1) Practice days Around 30 practices are held on Sundays throughout the year. We sometimes attend practices at Tokyo Metropolitan Aoyama High School (2-1-8 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku) and Komazawa University Komazawa High School (1-1-1 Unane, Setagaya-ku).
(2) Practice venues: British School In Tokyo Ground at Showa Women’s University in Setagaya Ward, and BST Nagasawa Sports Ground in Kawasaki City.
(3) The coaching staff includes Head Coach William Hill and Mikey Peters (both from New Zealand), Lyle Heneke (from South Africa), Masaharu Shimizu (Aoyama Gakuin University OB), Koji Kaburaki (Teikyo University OB) and Sami Kobayashi (University of Tokyo OB) from the Shibuya International Rugby Club. Team Manager is Sami Kobayashi.
(4) Teams: We have two teams; one is U16 and another U18.
(5) Membership fee: Enrolment fee of 10,000 yen and monthly membership fee of 5,000 yen for 2024. Sports safety insurance, JRFU registration fee (including tournament entry fee) and practice participation fee are all included in the Enrolment fee of 10,000 yen.

If the player is applying themselves, please make sure to obtain the consent of their parent or guardian and also include the parent or guardian’s contact details. |
