Report of Chichibunomiya rugby exchange match participation

The Minato Rugby Festival was held at Chichibunomiya Rugby Field, a sacred place for rugby on Saturday, June 1st, and the children of Team Samurai and Team Junior Samurai participated in the mini rugby exchange event.

We have played against the traditional ‘Setagaya Rugby School ‘and ‘Minato Rugby School’ next door to the Chichibunomiya Field, but the children of SIRC played lively despite the fact that they have just begun contact play, and the game content was excellent.

Since the club was founded, we had been dreaming of participating Chichibunomiya Rugby Field and we could made this happen so fast.

Thanks to the warm support and cooperation of the organizers and everyone who has supported this club.
Allow me to use this opportunity to offer my thanks.

WhatsApp SIRC Ideas group

For some time, the coaches and staff have been using WhatsApp to share ideas that can help improve our club. We would now like to open this process up to everyone associated with the club since we are sure a lot of the parents have great ideas too and would like to have some kind of input.

If you would like us to add you to the WhatsApp SIRC Ideas group, please follow the following steps:

  1. Download WhatsApp if you don’t have it already and register
  2. Please email us (event@shibuyarugby.com) to inform us of the phone number you used to register on WhatsApp with so we can add you to the Ideas group chat.
  3. Optional: once we have added you to the group, we advise you to mute the chat (so you are not inundated with notifications) and just check in occasionally to see what’s being discussed.
  4. Start contributing your ideas to the discussion.

With your help, the best ideas will filter through the system, be refined and put into practice to make our club stronger.

Thanks for your time and we look forward to your input.

Cheers,

Jamie MacCormack,
Ideas Committee
