Class Schedule: Sunday 10th March

Super Ninja, Ninja, and Samurai

There will be a joint training session followed by a friendly match with Bunkyo Rugby School this Sunday 10th March. Please note that for Super Ninja, Ninja and Samurai who will attend this event, training will begin in the afternoon:

  • Meeting time: 1:30 pm
  • Meeting place: Tokyo University, Komaba campus (in front of the main gate)
  • Training/Match time: Approx. 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
  • Training/Match place: Tokyo University rugby ground in Komaba campus

The items and clothing that players should bring are the same as for usual practice, please click the link below if you are unsure. Please be sure to wear the full SIRC uniform, anyone who has not yet received a uniform can borrow one on the day.

[What to bring]

No Bicycle Parking

*Please be aware that bicycle parking within the university campus is strictly forbidden, thank you for your cooperation in advance.

Suspension

*If we need to suspend our class due to bad weather, we will inform you on our official Facebook, Twitter, and a mass-e-mail by around 11:30 am on the day. Please be noticed there.

Shogun

There will be a joint training session followed by a friendly match with Gakushuin Boy’s Junior High School this Sunday 10th March for Shogun.

  • Meeting time: 9:00 am
  • Meeting place: JR Yamanote-line Mejiro Station
  • Training/Match time: Approx. 9:00 am to 11:30 am
  • Training/Match place: Gakushuin junior & senior high school the 1st Ground (dai-ichi-ground)

*Please do not be late for meeting time.
*Please be sure to email us info@shibuyarugby.com if you are running late

Sunday 17th March – St. Patrick’s Day

Slight time change for Samurai Class 

Please be aware that on Sunday 17th March, Samurai will start training from 09:00 and finish at 10:30 due to the St. Patrick’s Day event that SIRC have been invited to afterwards. Participation in the St. Patrick’s Day event is of course optional. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Further details of the St. Patrick’s Day event will be sent to all our members soon. For now the rough details are as follows

Additional Class

Additional Class for Super Ninja, Ninja and Samurai Class 

As a result of the training on 3 March being cancelled due to bad weather, we will hold an additional class on Sunday 24 March as a replacement to the cancelled class.

Super Ninja, Ninja

  • Reception start time: 8:30 am
  • Training time: 9:00am to 10:30am
  • Venue: Showa Women’s University South Ground

Samurai

  • Reception start time: 10:00 am
  • Training time: 10:30am to 12:00am
  • Venue: Showa Women’s University South Ground

「ラグビーワールドカップ2019日本大会」がいよいよこの9月に開催され、12の都市で48試合が行われます。
ラグビーワールドカップとは、そもそもどういう大会なのか、そして、どういう経緯を経て日本開催が決まったのか。
さらに、この大会が日本で開催されることの将来的意義はどこにあるのか。
2003年からワールドカップ招致活動に取り組み、その後、アジアラグビーの会長などを歴任し、現在、ラグビーワールドカップ2019組織委員会に在籍する講師が、ラグビーワールドカップのすべてを語ります。
