Class Schedule : Sunday 3rd March


Please be aware that there will be no class this Sunday 3rd March for Shogun. Shogun’s next session will be held on Sunday 10th March at Gakushuin University where they will have a friendly match against
Gakushuin Junior High School. You will be informed of  further details nearer the date.

Special Class for 11-12 Year Olds and Beginners 

We are having a special basic skills class for 11-12 year-old players and beginners. This session will be run by Koji Tokumasu and will be held at 9:00-10:00 on Leo Ground, Showa Women’s University on Sunday 3rd March. This session is mainly for younger SHOGUN players and those who would like the opportunity to learn basic skills without physical pressure. If you are already in the Samurai class, you do not have to attend this session.

Girls Day Touch Rugby Information

Sunday 3rd March is “Hina Matsuri” and in honour of this SIRC have prepared a touch rugby experience session for women and a hands-on experience of “Hinamatsuri” to mark the day. Please join us!

    For this event, with the cooperation of the International Friendship Program KIDS CLUB, a program that everyone can enjoy such as dressing in kimono, calligraphy, hina dolls origami experience has been prepared for you.

Applicable to

  1. Parents of Shibuya International Rugby Club members, brothers and sisters, friends
  2. Anyone Interested in Shibuya International Rugby Club activities

Please come in casual clothes.
If we have to cancel the session due to rain, we will inform you on our Official Facebook Page and via group email by around 7:00 am on the morning of Sunday 3rd March.

The touch rugby session will be centered around girls, mothers, older sisters who are over 4 years old. (We accept special cases according to consultation for boys and men’s participation etc.)
Please note Insurance is not included.
Kimono dressing will be centered on females over 7 years old.
Please note that places are limited so will be decided on a first come first serve basis.

Advance reservation is unnecessary.

Medical Team

We are happy to announce that SIRC now has a Medical Committee. This committee is lead by Dr. Kei (Head of Medical Committee) and M.D. Olivier (Vice Head).

The other members of the Medical Committee are Alwin, Taka, and Yasu, who have all undergone the Trainer Seminar at JRFU. The seminar was exciting and informative and now means that all of our Medical Committee members are certified Safety Assistants by JRFU.
